and pence them a love nobody
But far too many people them a just love money

What about our basic human need

They only want riches, fast cars and girls
Bredren humble yourselves! Give to the poor
Feel the blessings come more and more
Coz money just bring about much argument
It bring about no man fulfilment
They a bow to the car, to the screen, to the dream
To Western capitalist regime.
See the lillies in the field they do not toil or tire
Even Solomon in his splendour could not match them attire
But what is here today, tomorrow will burn in the righteous fire
So don’t bother worry ‘bout clothes nor fodder
I tell you that tomorrow will worry ‘bout tomorrow

You wake up late, can’t bear to face the morning
While away the day, longing for your finest hour
You know it won’t come, to those who don’t go and seek it
The months they go by but still you are hiding reckless.
But out of reckless comes another way
Responsibility for a brighter day
You owe it to yourself, you owe it to your friends around you
But don’t give in to fear, or give into the things that bind you
Don’t let it drag you down, don’t let it hold you down
Sooner or later you’ll find the brighter side of another darker day.
Deny yourself all of life’s greater glories
